A small choice, kept in the browser
Cookies
This page describes cookies on techcanvaspoint.digital. It should be read with the privacy notice. The banner on your first visit offers Accept and Reject with equal weight. Rejecting does not close the curriculum, the programmes, or the enquiry form.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a short text file stored by your browser. Some cookies are essential to remember a choice you made on this site. Others, often called analytics cookies, would help a host count visits. We tell you below which of those we actually issue.
Types we use
Essential. We set one cookie-like value in localStorage to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so the banner does not return on every page load. That storage is not used to follow you across other websites.
Analytics. We do not currently set analytics cookies. If we ever add a simple visit count, it will load only after Accept, it will appear in the table below, and Reject will keep it off. Until then, Accept and Reject both mean: no analytics file is written.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| techcanvaspoint_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject so the banner can stay hidden. Essential for remembering that choice. | Until you clear site data, or one year if the browser keeps it that long | Tech Canvas Point (first party, localStorage) |
Third-party cookies
Pages may load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request can allow Google to see the network address of the visit. It is not a cookie we set, and it is not turned off by Reject. Images may load from Unsplash or Pexels; those hosts may set their own cookies on their domains. We do not use advertising networks.
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also clear stored data for this site in your browser settings, after which the banner will return. Blocking all storage may hide the banner again on each visit; the classroom pages still open.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting optional cookies has no effect on reading programmes, the curriculum, or sending an enquiry. Clearing all site data only forgets your banner choice. It does not cancel a sitting you booked by email.
